DIRECTV Equipment

I have the protection plan. My receiver went out.  They came to replace it.  I asked if this would extend my service commitment and he said no it is covered under warranty.  Get my new bill and now it says my commitment is until January 2026.  Also, took away my Lifetime FREE DV

The sound quits for 2 or 3 seconds every hour or so. It seems to happen on most channels and also cuts out on recorded shows. I have an HDMI connection from the HR24-200 receiver directly to my TV. Then a digital optical audio connection from the TV to my surround sound system.

I have 2 Directv accounts. 1 is at my primary address and the other is at my vacation home.  Can I use one of my boxes for a 5 day camping trip?  There is no internet connection so I can't stream using the Directv app.

Parental control only options is for tv show content no options for block acccess for app. They put a browser app on a woundetful tv plate form with no controls.  Not great for houses with determined teenagers. No one up block website or block the whole app. 

My H23-600 receiver smoked so I purchased a good one on eBay (same model and same month and year mfg). We have 3 TVs. One is fed by a Genie connected to a dish. The other two have mini Genies fed by coac from the main genie. One TV shows “No signal.” Other than swapping the two minis to see if the problem swaps with them, is there a reasonable priced meter for Genie to mini Genie signals?
