Can't delete and recordings

I am trying to delete recordings and all I get is please wait... than it seems to get stuck. I have to turn off the box to get it to stop and to be able to watch TV.  The dvr won't erase any recordings whether individually or grouped...

Screen went dark when I selected a channel. Reset doesn't work

Tried to bring up a usual channel, 44. Screen went dark, remote stopped working. New batteries, resets, etc. Blue 'on' light now there, but TV message 'no signal, is it on'?

Rewind issues
