Watching on Satellite

A year ago I upgraded from a HD DVR receiver that was several years old to the latest Genie 2 receiver package. When that happened I noticed to problems: 1. The response time of the Genie 2 was about half of what it was on the old receiver. There is noticeable lag time / latency in all operations. 2

I have a Directv Satellite Dish for years in the St. Louis region in Illinois. Recently, we've noticed a video glitch/skip that is occurring persistently. Audio is never disrupted, but the video picture will freeze a split second and then jump right back in sync with audio. This occurs about every 1

connection interruption.

I just purchased my first movie for my granddaughter to watch but it keeps freezing/glitching like it was recorded during a storm. I’ve tried deleting and re-recording as well as resetting my main receiver and then re-recording and nothing changed.

I really hope the Santa tracker comes back this year, it was a stable to my family's Christmas for years and we were so sad that it was unavailable last year so please bring it back because I know I am not the only one who wants it back.
