Is it possible to pair more than one bluetooth remote control with the C71KW-400 box?

What is the bluetooth range of the C71KW-400 Cable box? If the bluetooth range needs to be extended, is there a bluetooth range extender that works well?

Watching MSNBC and it went black for about 5 mins starting around 9:15am and then later for less than a minute between 11:30 & 12:15 and then 3rd time just after 2:00pm. At the moment I have a second service and it was fine on TDS.  So it's not the local feed.  Any thoughts why?
