AT&T U-verse DVR not recording scheduled series

We have AT&T U-verse with one hard wired receiver and one wireless receiver. When attempting to set up a recording schedule for a TV show series, in this case "Jeopardy," I can set up the schedule but the DVR does not record the show. I've rebooted, reset, etc. but result is the same.

AT&T now shipping "refurbished" remote controls, gross

AT&T just keeps finding ways to be even cheaper, and really just be pennywise and pound foolish. I got a replacement STB("refurbished" like all equipment now) and it came with a "refurbished" remote control. I use the word "refurbished" in quotes because I'm fairly certain at&t does the bare minimum
