Wireless receiver stops during recording playback

Wireless receiver constantly stops during recording playback with message. Stopped network problems have stopped this stream.  Sometimes I am able to resume playing, sometimes it says it is not available and I have to start show all over.   Never fails that it stops again.  Nothing is wrong with my At&T network.

This happens normally when the Wireless Receiver loses its connection to the DVR.  Do you ever watch live TV on the Wireless Receiver?  Do you have issues then?  Do you ever watch recordings on the DVR?  Do you have any issues with that?  How is the DVR connected to the Gateway?  How far is the WAP for the Receivers from the Gateway (I recommend 3 feet or more).

Let's see if we can get your receiver back up and running, @Janriegler.

Thank you to @JefferMC for the useful information.

As the ace stated, there may be a connection concern with the main DVR and that wireless receiver.

How close is your Gateway to the DVR?

How far is the Wireless Access Point for the receivers from the Gateway?

Here is more information on how to troubleshoot a wireless receiver.

Let us know more information, so we can further proceed.

I just received and installed a new wireless tv receiver after several years of not being to play back recordings without continuous network stopped messages.   Live tv has always worked fine.  Not sure I’d it is fixed yet.

@Janriegler

Did you troubleshoot using the link Marc sent?

If not, give it a try and let us know if the message comes back or not.
