when the tv comes on the box should go to home, it doesn't. I press home and I get a bunch of gray squares, no images. How do I reset the box?

My DirecTV streaming box receives its signal via Wifi from my router. Everything has worked flawlessly from the beginning. I also use streaming apps for Prime Video, Discovery+ and Paramount+. Just subscribed to Directv with ATT internet. 1. Samsung remote does not operate the way buttons are labeled. 2. Response time for channel changes is 10-15 seconds. Totallty unacceptable. Recently switched from cable to Gemini Air on 2 tv. The system freezes frequently. When I run diagnostics, the signal is STRONG, This is happening on both TVs. What do I need to do to correct this. I'm beginning to wish I hadn't switched.
