I've noticed that some of the buttons on the remote transmit an IR signal and others do not. I'm guessing the ones that do not are transmitting RF? Is there a way to force the remote (RC81V) to use IR for all buttons?

I have DirectTV Stream on my Samsung TV. I'm using the Samsung remote but I've seen comments that the DirectTV Gemini devices are better. I thought that you had to pay $15.99 for the first Gemini and $7 for additional per month which can add up. Is this correct?

Just discovered how to enable developer mode on Gemini Air
Using the standard Chromecast procedure, it works the same way on the Gemini Air to enable developer mode: go to settings, then system, then device preferences, then about. Click on Android TV OS build and voila. Not sure I'll ever change anything but ....
