I have complained , as have many others, about the 5 sec darkened screen. Today I was watching the Senate hearings on CSPAN. Their mouse-over/click algorithm is far superior to yours. I recommend that you study it and consider adopting something like it,

My mother is a customer of Direct TV/AT&T.  She has had that service for approx 5+ years.  The original installation was mounted thru shingled roof top.  Some 2-3 years ago, a service tech uninstalled that roof mounted dish and re-mounted it to a higher position on her roof.

We have direct tv satellite service, AND HACE HAD A 4 yr old SamsungTV with the direct tv app installed. With the tv remote you could click on the app and it would bring up a choice to click on, either “guide” or “recordings” so you could go where ever you wanted in Direct tv land all with the TV r

Is direct tv down? Says there's an issue content is unavailable.

When I turn on my TV, it is stuck on one channel. Remote wont pull up guide or perform any other function. I have changed batteries out. I have changed TV's and boxes from other rooms that are working and still the same problem. How do I fix.

I've had the Select package for a number of years. Now I don't see  it as a choice.  Where is it?  I want to see what channels are part of the Select package I'm paying for.  Thanks. Larry
