Watching U-verse TV

When watching ANY show, the digital channels freeze and then continue again causing us to miss parts of every show we watch. In addition, the entire system will shut down and reboot at least once to twice a day 

I used the ESPN schedule on U-verse to schedule recording the Behring F1 race. Instead I recorded basketball. When I checked on ESPN, I saw that the race was broadcast at a different time, about 3 hours later.

I used to be an AT&T Uverse user but dropped to AT&T fiber keeping my same account credentials since I kept the AT&T Internet gateway. Using these credentials I am able to validate and access HBONow. I am also able to access a collection of fairly recent (2 weeks old) FOX and ABC shows.

Suddenly, the Guide only shows streaming channels, no cable channels. Any ideas?  Thanks.

Why is direct tv so expensive all the sudden? Are they trying to push customers away? Streaming services are half your tv price now
