Satellite vs Stream Need some help - I'm lost
I have a Direct TV Satellite service. I have boxes all over my house. I bought two new ROKU TVs for my office and Bedroom. Someone told me I don't need my boxes anymore in those 2 rooms but can download Direct TV app and stream my subscription on these two TVs saving money each month by turning my boxes in. I'm older and by myself and struggle with this stuff. When I look for apps the only I find is Direct TV stream. Is that it?

AT&T has spun off AT&T TV / DIRECTV to a separate DIRECTV company. Please see their forums here:

The short answer is that there is no DIRECTV satellite app for streaming devices like Roku. There is one for smart phones, but that won't help you here. "Someone" was confused between DIRECTV satellite and DIRECTV stream.
