DIRECTV STREAM Setup & Equipment

Remote is flashing to blue lights and will not control the television at all. It will not allow us to go to the home screen or change the channel.

I am trying to set up my Genie device for streaming. I get to the updates section and I see that updates are being downloaded.  When the blue line gets to the end, it sits forever and never goes any further.  I let the downloads go for over an hour, but nothing further happened.  I h

I've had U-Verse for years & the price has steadily gone up every year. I have the U200 package. I'm now paying well over $200 a month. I'm curious about the Directv stream. It seems that if I go this route, I'll be losing a lot of channels that I watch, but now it's become a matter of economics

I tried several times and settings to try connect the directv optical output to my Denon receiver. I just switch from Xfinity to Directv, so I know my receiver can handle optical audio. But no luck so far. I called support and the person claims I can't hook the optical audio to a receiver. Which
