DIRECTV STREAM Setup & Equipment

I have room in my DVR account, and my upcoming recordings are listed correctly. However, the next day when I go to my library, the show has not been recorded. This issue just began again this week. It happened about a year ago too.

I have a LG 47LS4500 TV that is not a smart tv. What exactly do I need to set this tv up to Direct TV stream?  Also, I am an elder who is not up to date on 'technical language' so give it to me straight and easy to understand.  Thank you.

The DVR is not working. It’s recording shows where I didn’t set the recording or set a bookmark. Then programs where I’ve set the recording and bookmark are being erased. What do I do?

I am not able to login on my mobile app. This has been going on for a couple of weeks. I have done everything possible. I would like to record musical performances to DVD for future playing. How can I do this? In the past the cable box went into the DVD recorder and out to the TV. Streaming device does not appear to work like that. What are my options?

I tried all the steps given b/c a few days ago all of a sudden when I'd open my DirecTV Stream on my Firestick it would just remain a black screen. Nothing worked. So finally I uninstalled and re-installed the app. Now it loads to the login screen. When I log in, it spins for a while and then says
