I have a DirecTv cable box model HR44-500 that I think has an issue. I connect it to my Yamaha RX-V6A receiver with an HDMI cable along with 2 RCA cables (left/right) and the volume is very low on the speakers.  If I set it to 50 on the Yamaha receiver, the volume is right to listen to.

I use a H24-200 receiver camping and have later model receivers at home. While camping (even just 10 miles from home) the setup only indicates sats 101 and 119 while at home it receives 99, 101 and 103.  What am I doing wrong in setup or does the H24-200 not pick up sats 99 and 103?

I have the old style Directv DVR+ Model HR24-200. it seems to be working just fine, nut hte front panel no longer lights up when I turnit on.  Therefore, i can't tell what resolution it is playing...  Is there a way to fix this?  is this a sign it is about to die?
