DIRECTV Equipment

Loose reception after watching for an hour, get snowy screen and have to turn off receiver and back on again to get reception back. This happens on just one of my receivers (HR24-500).  I have reset with red button but still happens.

I have a Genie HR54/500 HDVR. Is there a maximum size hard drive I can use? I haven’t looked at the back of the rcvr yet (hard to get to), but the manual indicates it has a SATA port and everything I’ve read online says to use eSATA. .???

I connected the hdmi cable to a Samsung smart tv plugged in the electric plug paired the Vizio sb to the audio from the remote setting. The power and volume responded from the direct tv remote but can’t get any sound from the bar. What step am I missing?

I am wondering we cancelled our direct tv service and our service is good until january 9th, why would we be expected to return the equiptment before then?? Got a new wireless gemini box. DIRECTV channels work great and screen says connected to Wi-Fi. When I try to use the apps, all the apps say not connected to Wi-Fi. Back in November I was offered a free remote. It was shipped via FedEx but they damaged the package and it was sent back. I've tried several times to find out if they're sending a replacement but DirecTV customer service just gives me the run around.
