I cannot turn off my tv using my direct stream remote

Anytime I’m watching FETV, there’s consistently picture quality issues about every two minutes. It will go from perfect to a scrambled type appearance throughout programming. We are currently a Xfinity TV account using voice remote and want switch to Direct TV streaming. How difficult is it w/o interrupting watching TV

I have directv stream and Hisense TV. Directv remote works perfectly except when I hit the down volume button. When I do that the picture mode screen for the TV comes up on the left hand side of the screen. Any idea how to fix this?

On the Directv app on Roku, I'm able to place a recording in Bookmarks' but when I choose a Purchased movie to be added to 'Bookmarks' it doesn't show up there. when i say a channel it prints it on screen but does not go to the channel name but puts irrelevent suggestions to say.
