Watching DIRECTV

When I tune to channel 4 on any of my 4 DirecTV boxes, the DIRECTV logo is displayed. (I am able to stream that channel through the DirecTV app.) What do I do?

So I got a message saying the old app was going away in a couple of weeks. It does not appear that I can download any of the shows on my direct ( I have satellite). Am I mistaken? Do I need to change service to comcast or some other service. Almost worthless if I can’t watch shows when off line.
