Missing Artwork in the Guide
Hi. Is anybody else missing artwork for some programs or movies?
For example if you search for The Shining the artwork is missing. Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure set to air on channel 244 is missing artwork and Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey set to air next is missing artwork but all other programs on channel 244 have artwork.
The missing artwork is not happening on all channels.
I have done a restart twice within 10 minutes and let my guide and artwork reload 48-72 hrs later I get the same result.
Is this a bug in the system perhaps?

Yes they did Shannon02. Don't tell me what they didn't do. They ran a test to see if their was an issue with my software. There was no issue and my issue has been escalated. I watched it done on my TV right before my very eyes. So don't tell me what they did or did not do. I am not going to come on here and make up lies. So please do not respond to my posts anymore.

It could definitely be a bug. What are your receiver models? If you have more than one receiver, does this issue happen on all of them? Have you already attempted a red button reset on all receivers?

I have an HR44 one receiver only and have done two resets twice within 10 minutes by the red button. It's not happening on all channels it's kind of a here and there.

Gotcha. Yes, it could definitely be a temporary glitch. I'd wait it out for another day or so to see if the problem is resolved on DIRECTV's side. Other things to do include refreshing the receiver online by logging into directv.com and going under 'Manage your Equipment'.
You can also try going to Menu, Search, and search CLEARMYBOX into the search and press ENTER to search. This will refresh Guide data

What's the difference between doing a reset with red button and clearmybox ?
Also the missing artwork has been going on I would say 3 weeks now.

CLEARMYBOX actually refreshes Guide Data and clears cobwebs and other issues currently going on with your DIRECTV box. A traditional red button reset also fixes issues but it won't actually refresh any GUIDE DATA

- Go to My Equipment & Services https://www.directv.com/accounts/satellite/equipments
- Review the equipment you have and identify the impacted receiver(s).
- Select Refresh receiver to begin. This takes a minute or two and may briefly interrupt your service.
If you need an additional step, try restarting your receiver by pressing the red reset button on the side. That is all downloaded using the internet so make sure it is still connected to it.

My receiver is plugged in directly to my router via ethernet cable.

I did clearmybox so now just have to wait a few days and see if everything comes back.

Doesn't mean it is still connected, my HR24 disconnects from the internet at times and it is also connected with an Ethernet cable unknown if it is the router not renewing the IP address or what.
Doing 2 reboots within 30 minutes is suppose to do the same things as doing the search for clearmybox.

I always check my internet setup and it says connected. I did the two reboots in 10 minutes via the red button already. So clear my box is the next option.

What could help me is if somebody could search for the movie The Shining and see if it shows artwork. Mine does not. Another option is to go into the guide and go to the syfy channel. Two Bill and Ted Movies are playing from 7pm-9pm and 9pm-11pm both of those show no artwork as well. I am curious if other users on here are experiencing the same issues with the programs I mentioned.
