When logging in to my Directv account I get redirected to an ATT page that states that I am logging in with a temporary password

Every time I attempt to log into my Directv account, regardless of devise, browser or app, I get redirected to an ATT page which states that I am logging in with a temporary password and need to input a permanent password. Is it fraud or a scam?

We transferred our direct tv from one state to another and in the process after we were set up in our new home we received a phone call stating we need to prove we are not a business and to send pictures of the inside of our home along with a pic of tv after we hold down a button for so many seconds

I called the cust. service #, spoke to a man named Vin...he seemed helpful until he said he would need to send a technician to my home to fix or replace my receiver...at a cost of $99.!! ...or $8
