Watching U-verse TV

the tv will go black, then i get the spinning circle, this happens about every 20 mins or so. sometimes, especially watching sports, after going through black screen stuff the show will come back in spanish i have no idea if this is directv or the at&t internet help

I've been streaming Fox News on my PC for years. Lately, I get this error. It is fixed sometimes by refreshing the page, sometimes by watching a clip or switching to Fox Business and then back and sometimes by switching browsers. I'm watching Grand Prix Figure Skating on the Olympics channel but the Information block shows Skiing Cup. This disconnect has become typical. International competitions often air overnight, but I can't tell by the Information in the Guide what I need to record. It's very frustrating.

I have gotten as far as change password, which then updates my att account (not what I wanted or needed) and then still wont let me use app (still indicates wrong long in info) - help!

I have U-verse and 5 separate TVs - all with set top boxes. Some are older TVs, a couple are smart TVs, and one has a Roku. In what cases do I need a set top box?
