Watching on Satellite

On all of the DirecTv support instructions, and on all of the online vids, they say/show a "list" page with a box at the top labeled "Recording Manager".   This is not the same list screen on my Genie box system ;  nothing to select except "Upcoming Rcrdgs" or one of the listed recor

I have a whole home DVR genie system and one of the clients will not play live tv. You can see the guide and watch any of the recordings in the DVR, but live tv is a solid black screen no sound.  I have unplugged, changed HDMI cables, reset with the whole hold the enter button and nothing.

Our internet connection keeps disconnecting from the DirectTV.
