On genie air box/remote is there no way to recover a deleted recording, or to even access the recording manager.?

Genie client not playing live tv
I have a whole home DVR genie system and one of the clients will not play live tv. You can see the guide and watch any of the recordings in the DVR, but live tv is a solid black screen no sound. I have unplugged, changed HDMI cables, reset with the whole hold the enter button and nothing.
