Watching DIRECTV

Have had the package for years but it's no longer displaying in the app guide. NHL Center Ice channels are showing, have show 'all channels' selected. Not trying to stream, only set recordings remotely. Called CS and they had no idea other than a remote reset.

Anyway to disable side and bottom news side bars while watching F1 racing? Hate it as screen smaller and very busy.

I subscribe to HBO on Direct TV. It appears that I can't use MAX directly on my Samsung Smart TV.  Can I download the App to my phone and then cast the video to my TV?  I do this with some sport apps.
