CBS HD and NBC HD (movie-like video)

Does anyone else here notice on CBS HD or NBC HD that live broadcasts such as sporting events (i.e. NFL) look like movie quality video as opposed to live video? It almost appears that the speed of the video is slightly slower than it should be. It is extremely noticable on NBC HD where occasionally the video will noticably slow down and then resume normal speed. It doesn't appear on ABC HD or Fox HD which is why it doen't lead me to believe it's a signal issue and the 103 Sat is showing signals in the 70s. And it's not a box issue because it happens on both of my HDTVs. Now I know that ABC and Fox are broadcast in 720p whereas NBC and CBS are broadcast in 1080i, but I also know that TNT HD is broadcast in 1080i and when I watched the PGA championship the picture looked more like a live broadcast on TNT HD as compared to CBS HD where it looked more like movie video. So my question is, is this a network issue or is it related to Directv because it's kind of annoying?

Thanks,

Why is the picture quality terrible and small screen size on CBS and NBC on Directv Stream?
