Watching DIRECTV

I have used the DirectTV app on my phone to watch using the login info for my satellite service, but I'm currently getting some remodeling done to my house that is preventing the use of the dish. I downloaded the app to my Roku, signed in, but it only offers me options to pay for the DirectTV Stream

How do i set Premier League Soccer to record on all channels. The series manager indicates only one channel (USA 242)???

When watching CBS, the picture will freeze while the audio continues. It only lasts a second or two, but is very distracting.

The subtitles skip or only display every other sentence, I know the answer ( Restart and miss 15-20 minutes of whatever game I gave recording or shows that are recording) my question is how do I fix this not put a poorly constructed bandaid on it?
