“PRESS DOWN TO SEE RECENT CHANNELS” BANNER

Not certain why DIRECTV would find the RECENT CHANNELS Banner a helpful option on the streaming device without some obvious way to remove this annoying banner. It appears and stays in position.  I have contacted DIRECTV Support several times and their agents DO NOT KNOW HOW TO REMOVE THIS ANNO

Audio out of sync

I changed my sound system to a soundbar (Sonos arc). It is connected to the TV as is the directv air device. The soundbar connects to wifi but I think that's so that the volume can be controlled from the sonos app. I'm watching TV and it's very noticeable that the audio is out of sync with the vid

Remote no longer working

Al I can do is turn the box on and off. I changed the batteries and that didn't do anything. I held down the - and apps button then held down rewind and fast forward and got remote paired successfully. Still cannot do anything other than turn the box on and off. What's the deal?

Recent changes to 'delete after watching'

My cloud DVR service (using DTV 'boxes') used to allow me to delete a recording and watch the next episode. Recently (a couple of weeks now) - I have to watch the show, go to the 'list', reselect the show I was watching, delete the episode I just watched and then select the next in the series.
