Watching DIRECTV STREAM

On my set-top box, I click on a tv series, click on 'Recording', then 'Only New Episodes', then 'Record as is", but DirecTV records older episodes as well. Why?

How do I make a DIRECTV Stream feature request? Is there a specific email address which should be used?

I am trying to watch my account in my vacation home. Loaded the app on two different TCL Google TVs and it locks up immediately on both.  TVs are one year old and software is up to date.  It appears I might need a different provider.  Any ideas?
