Does the DIRECTV streaming stick work with a Vizio 4k ultra us smart tv?

I have the direct tv app downloaded on my tv, the picture is fine but no sound coming out of my Yamaha receiver. I have hdmi arc in on tv to hdmi out on receiver. What am I doing wrong
