Streaming Setup & Equipment

This is in reference to the "no contract" DTV Streaming service where you can use a Roku, Fire Stick, Google Chromecast w/Google TV, Android TV, etc. I use Fire Sticks and Roku, but I also have a used C71KW-400 I got from eBay and it works well. My C71KW-400 says it was manufactured in 2019, so it

We have Direct TV and it's getting a little costly. Is the Streaming option worth it or is there a lot of problems using it? Is it easy to use for an 83 yr old? What should I be aware of?

Can I connect the DirecTv streaming box to one of the HDMI inputs on my AV receiver? Will the audio be processed by the receiver as it is with other inputs?

I just purchased Direct TV Choice with AT&T fiber internet yesterday. I downloaded the App and it doesn't work on my TV's.  I've got a Fire TV and multiple Fire sticks.  It works on my laptop but nothing else.  Do I need the box and the Gemini controller first?
