What internet speed is required to use DirectTV stream?

Direct TV Streaming support informed me the reason I couldn't install the Direct TV streaming App on my new Fire Stick was because it wasn't a Version 4 fire stick. Direct TV Streaming support states they are compatible with Version 2. I can only see the Direct TV (nor streaming) app. Any ideas?

We currently have a DirectTV Stream Device. However, our TV is a SmartTV (Amazon FireTV) and the DirectTV app is already installed on it. What do I need to do to start using the app instead of the device?

I used to connect to my phone hotspot when Tmobile Home WIFI went down. Tmobile WIFI went down for a while last night and when I tried using the phone hotspot it didn't show up in the available networks. Same thing using my wifes phone.  The streamer has been power cycled several times.

this past 2 weeks the streaming box in the living room is not showing a picture but has sound nothing but a gray screen. I have to reset the box all the time. I have 2 boxes one downstairs in the basement and that one working fine.  any idea what is wrong?
