Not a Satellite customer yet and it has been very difficult to know if DTV is right for me without a demo. I am a Xfinity customer and I can frequently go through a recorded football game very fast. Picture flashing in and out. Also losing audio all other channels working fine have reset all equipment

Periodically over the last few days channel 360 flashes, freezes momentarily, loses audio andmomentarily goes to a black screen.

Has anyone noticed maybe in past few weeks to a month, the picture quality on Directv has declined? It seems more compressed than normal. This feels like it could be beginning of the end of the hardware satellite. Did they flip over to a streaming satellite feature with a low bit rate?
