Hi - we only want NEW episodes to record for a series is there a way to program that option like it used to be on the dish service? We don't want EVERY episode of Gold Rush, Expedition Unknown...etc recorded - just the new.

Inexplicably, my Direct tv app on my iPad no longer displays my dvr recordings. My library is empty yet I have many shows recorded on my tv. It happened overnight! Why can’t I see my recorded shows any longer on the app?

   This is a current story, but the background is very important.  (Please know now that we have only ever had ONE DVR box attached to a single television in the living room.)  First of all, why does ALWAYS it take FOREVER to get anything done when you call for help?
