My daughter bought me a Fire tv for Mothers Day and I have direct tv. I've connected my Direct TV to my Fire tv and it works great. HOWEVER, I can no longer get a signal to my remote Direct TV box in my bedroom or on my smart phone. What can I do?

I just upgraded to HR 54 genie with a satellite C61 on one other tv and C51 on another.  I have DVD/VCR players on both the C61 and C51.   I can get the satellite C setups to  to play tapes or dvds but cannot figure out how to get them to record. Please help.  Do I just need a D

Why would the Entertainment package include Hallmark Mystery Channel 565 and the Choice would not; I would think it would be the other way around.
