Gemini broke my Genie
After years of faithful service from my genie receiver, I ordered the Gemini co location box, solely to be able to stream as well as watch sat tv from one remote. Box arrived, installation and set up was easy. Everything worked, except the dvr interface. The list was sluggish, deleting one show took 3 minutes. Worse, shows set to record didn’t show up on the list. I know it recorded because the orange light on the receiver was on. Called tech support, can’t diagnose Gemini, he just said he’d send me a new one. Plugged in replacement and same thing happened. At this point I don’t really care, I’m sending both geminis back and calling it a failure. The problem is, it messed up my genie, shows on the list disappear then reappear magically, I’ve got stuff on the dvr I don’t want to lose. Trying tech support again tomorrow. How can they put out such a flawed product out into the world?

I've had occasion for recorded shows to disappear from the list, only to reappear later.
Gemini needs reboot about 1-2 times per week.
