Picture freezes constantly on Samsung tv using directv app. Have done all the suggested troubleshooting. No help. Is Directv going to fix this or do I cancel service and use Hulu?

I recently downloaded the DirecTV app and after the first sign in prompts I am taken to a landing page with sports scores on them and then the app freezes before I can navigate anywhere else. We have several DTV Streaming boxes in two different homes. All work well except one box: when we hit record, a message pops up that says "Whoops, that program is finished airing and can't be recorded anymore" None of the other boxes give this error - we hit record and it records. Yesterday I had TCM channel 256 as part of my Entertainment Package. Today, when going to Channel 256, it says the channel isn't in my package? Is this a temporary problem or permanent. Were any other Channels removed or added?

Don't have to select any input, just click it. Sound comes on when DirectTV first starts with TV but quickly shows "Home" at top of screen and as soon as it does that, the sound goes out. Very disappointed with Gemini. One of the devices wouldn’t connect. Today I learned it doesn’t support PiP, so I can’t watch two NFL games at once. If the phone salesman had informed me of this, I never would have signed up for Gemini. I feel I was misled. I want to revert to my Genie devices. Thank

The sports mix is a good idea, but poorly executed. Let the customer choose which channels to put in the 4 box spread so they have control over their enjoyment.
