Popups added during last update - useless and annoying

DirectTV - please turn off the annoying popups added during the last application updates (Start from Beginning box and Press up for previous channels lower thirds)

Both of these options are easily accessible from the menus and frankly not used very often anyway. 

Please remove them or at a minimum, give the user the option to turn these off if not wanted.
