Watching on Satellite

We used to be able to record Newsmax shows but the satellite feed is either not available or goes out quickly and changes to streaming mode, which is constantly interrupted. Scoreguide doesn't work on any of the ESPN channels on my Genie Gen 2 receiver. It does work on my wireless video bridge. It works on all the other sports channels. I tried another Genie Gen 2 receiver and it has the same problem. I talked to an agent at DirecTV and he said his has the same problem.
