I was told when I cancelled my Direct TV streaming that I could still use the device I paid for to use apps. Just recently, like a week ago I think it updated because now when I boot it, i get the sign in to direct tv prompt and I can't seem to bypass it. Do I own a brick now?

I would like to record musical performances to DVD for future playing. How can I do this? In the past the cable box went into the DVD recorder and out to the TV. Streaming device does not appear to work like that. What are my options?

I’m using Directv stream free trial to decide whether to switch from YTTV.. I do not want to buy the device for my 3tv’s. The app on my Hisense android tv does not work very well with Hisense remote. Is there another remote that works better? My 2 other tvs have Roku box and other uses Nvidia Shield
