How do I stop my directv to stop recording every movie or series I watch? I don't want to record anything!!!

To use Directed TV with Gemini, it takes several minutes to start up each time. Then, almost every time I use it, I have to either reboot it or push the reset button (sometimes twice), which again takes several minutes. This is most often when I'm in or going into the App mode.

Can not connect receiver to Spectrum wifi. It was working two weeks ago. Call tech support three times, no help. Had new receiver installed by tech person, he could not make it work. Is Spectrum blocking direct tv's wifi signal??
