How do I increase my storage without losing everything I have saved? I called directtv and they said I could upgrade to a genie 2 but what I have could not be transferred and would be lost. Is there any way around this?

Just had a new floor put in. The TV Direct TV connections, our internet and entertainment things were disconnected and moved to put the new floor in.  Now the work is done and I need to get up and running again.  I have been able to get everything working again except the Direct TV.

We're having to do a hard reboot by unplugging a couple times of day. Running on fast 500 MB/s AT&T Fiber internet with a Samsung Tizen TV.  I'm suspecting the issues have to do with compatibility with the Samsung.  Please help.
