Yes I id reprogram correctly. I have to Sony 55" tvs and the same thing is happening on both units. The DTV turn off but the TV stays on indicating that no signal is available.
I've got the same issue. Just stopped turning the Sony TV off... Repaired remote, but there is no option to select a specific model, the remote setup wizard simply rotates thru 'code 1,' 'code 2' etc. I've tried selecting a couple different codes (as they all appear to work with the initial 'Try volume up button...' but none of them turn the Sony TV off anymore. Thoughts?

I believe so. But am not sure I did it correctly. It's been many years since I did it last.

Make sure that the correct TV model is selected in the settings on the app. Also make sure CEC settings on tv is off (i think).
