Have direct tv box. TV is plugged into it and works fine. Just bought Vizio 65" smart tv. Can I use and hdmi splitter plugged into box and then connect both tv's to splitter? I tried and receive video signal but no audio. If i unplug everything, start from scratch, i receive both audio and video. i

My recording are glitching and skipping also one of my genie mini the hdmi port isn't working since a storm. I had to hook it up to a old tv with a composite cable. I have been having issues with pixelating on my local channels. Resetting the HR-54 seemed to fix it, but then I would have an issue again. The backlighting for the Gemini remote keys is only illuminated when one of the keys is pressed. In a dark room an action button is often inadvertently pressed, with undesirable results. As a future enhancement couldn’t the backlighting illuminate when the remove is moved or shaken?

I have tried several remotes and have replaced the mini genie with a new one. I have reset the remotes many times. Everything works for awhile but after turning off the TV and using it again after a few days or weeks the remotes again stop functioning except for turning on and off the mini Genie. Yo

When I start double play by hitting the down arrow twice and entering another channel number, I can switch between the two channels with the down arrow, but nothing is recorded. I didn't know I had this?? I have Genie in one room, and an older box in the other. Snow killed our signal, and the Genie started streaming the channel. We didn't miss a beat on the show. But the other was dead to anything live??? Confused on what's going on there.

connecting vcr to directv with mini genie

Will I need the main Direct TV box to set up service in my new home. I will not occupy the home for a week, after the install can I take the main box back to the home I'm in for the next week?
