Receiver info for the Winnegard Traveler Mission

Hello,

We just purchased an older RV with the Winnegard Mission version, and was wondering if it is still usuable in todays world? We are DTV customers, but have the Genie & "mini" in our house and know they won't work. Is the H-24 still working? Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

DTV is no longer broadcasting MPEG2 SD channels and there are no longer any local channels on the 101 sat but you should be able to get the few MPEG4 channels with that dish.  The Winegard Travler is what is needed to get the channels on the 99/103 sats.

I'm totally ignorant regarding this system, so do you know what channels that may be? It is actually the Roadtrip Mission, not the Traveler. Do you know actually what channels or how many I'd get, and what receiver I do need? Thanks again...

Last I heard there are only 4 channels but there are post here saying most channels are there but it is unknown if HD or SD as the experts say there are not enough transponders to handle all the channels in HD.

With a SWM8 module the H25 will work, the H24 if you can get one also works. Even an HR24 will work if you can get one.  An RV dealer may have better info.
