Watching U-verse TV

My TV is on HDMI 2. I can be watching TV and all of a sudden it loses the picture. I then have to use the remote, open the HDMI menu at bottom, select #2 again and the picture comes back on. It’s like it kicks out the TV/picture from HDMI and you have to go back and re select it to continue watchin
