Watching on Satellite

I have Directv satellite Genie & it takes a few minutes to switch from one channel to another. It hasn’t always been this slow. I watch when I am away from my satellite on my iPad or a FireStick. I’ve deleted the apps and reinstalled on both. Keep getting blank screen or error message. Can’t stream anything.

I obtained a Gemini about 4 months ago and since day 1 when I turn the TV/Gemini receiver on in the morning I get choppy/video on all channels for that TV(not every day but most). Why are so many of the Phillies broadcasts unavailable on extra innings? We have to watch the other teams broadcasts frequently even though we are no where near local to Philadelphia. It seems like most other teams have both broadcasts available.

Seems like the number of Canadian team broadcasts fell sharply in 2022-2023 and now as 2023-2024 season started, no Flames broadcasts, maybe 3 Jets, 2 Senators broadcasts when playing against US teams (only US team broadcast in the channel lineup). The Directv app for my satellite service disappeared on my Samsung Smart TV. I tried reinstalling it, but the only option that comes up is for the streaming app. I tried going to Google to download, but it said it could not be accessed from that device. How do I get my app back?
