Watching DIRECTV STREAM

My directv app screen goes to black screen when watching tv using Apple TV device. I have deleted and reinstalled and that doesn’t fix the issue. I do not have this issue with my other streaming apps.

Unable to find community service channel

It’s been happening over the last few days. I’m watching TV and suddenly I get “No  Internet Connection”. My other devices, i.e. I phone, I pad, Mac, etc. are all connected with no issues.  I have to unplug the power to the streaming box and plug it back in and the connection comes back.

I am using the roku app for Directv stream. Is there a way to disable the live TV as background for the guide? When there is text on the live TV the guide is often unreadable. The same happens on the android app. Running in a browser, the guide show a clean set of menus.

It seems that there is a limit of 34 episodes when you record a series. Is this the case or am I missing something?

When I try and record a golf tournament on the weekends, sometimes there is coverage on the golf channel and then they switch it over to the network. I have the Direct TV stream app on my iPhone and have Direct Gemini 1 for tv as well. When I mirror using the Direct iPhone app to my Samsung Smart TV the picture quality is much better than when I use the Gemini dongle. This makes absolutely no sense to me...can someone please tell me why this is
