DIRECTV STREAM Setup & Equipment

My friend and neighbor gave me his box, these are all new as our entire HOA (275 homes) is switching from Frontier to DirecTV stream. Can I use his box? When I do a factory reset does it remove his profile permanently? They are only using the app on their smart TV.

When I switch to regular antenna TV I get a better, more colorful 4k picture. My Gemini Air produces a almost faded, washed picture. I've gotten the Gemini replaced but still the same results.

How do I rearrange my apps on the directv device?

I just received the new Gemini dongle receiver yesterday and everything works fine but I cannot channel jump. In other words I can only change channels with guide or channel lever control. I've tried everything and DirecTV tech was unable to find an answer. I was able to do this with my old malfunct
