DIRECTV STREAM Setup & Equipment

I am looking for a smart tv remote that will change the channels by number for direct tv stream. I have a Samsung remote with no number buttons.

I am having a lot of problem since the latest update a couple of months ago or so. Often the DirecTv app hangs on my FireTV app on a FireTV TV when I first start it in the morning.  I can only get it to work by first going into the FireTV settings and doing a 'forece stop' first then it works.

When im trying to log in to directv on my roku smart tv, it only gives me the option of starting a Free trial or log out.

Can someone tell me if there is a difference between the Gemini Air and the Osprey Box that could justify more the 3 times the price

I am using a direct tv stream box on a tv that isn’t a smart tv. I am in a recovery house that is dorm style and their WiFi requires that you accept the terms/sign in to be connected to internet.
