DIRECTV STREAM

I am away from home for several weeks, and wish to stop the "series recording" of a particular show. It was possible at home, using the Gemini box, but I cannot find a way to do that via browser access on my laptop, nor via the DirecTV Stream app on my iPad. Thanks for any pointers. Can you use DirectvStream in multiple households? I want a streaming service for myself and my brother with local sports channels (namely MSG) but the only other provider carrying it is FuboTV and they don’t allow you to use more than one device hooked up to a TV at once (outside of your home wifi).

I purchased the subject tv and then was told by LG that the DirectTV Stream app is NOT applicable. I am using the Gemini on an older tv and it works fine but when I plug it into an HDMI port on the LG it indicates no signal. Does Gemini work on this tv? If so, how?
