What command do I use to tell Alexa to turn off the TV?

My daughter bought me a Fire tv for Mothers Day and I have direct tv. I've connected my Direct TV to my Fire tv and it works great. HOWEVER, I can no longer get a signal to my remote Direct TV box in my bedroom or on my smart phone. What can I do?

Why would the Entertainment package include Hallmark Mystery Channel 565 and the Choice would not; I would think it would be the other way around.

can I stream DTV on my tv if my receiver is in another state? I can't find the DirectTV option on my tv. My Florida account is suspended for the summer. If i unsuspend it, will it work streaming here in Michigan? thanks
