Does the DIRECTV streaming stick work with a Vizio 4k ultra us smart tv?

I have the direct tv app downloaded on my tv, the picture is fine but no sound coming out of my Yamaha receiver. I have hdmi arc in on tv to hdmi out on receiver. What am I doing wrong

I currently use satellite and also use roku streaming. The streaming app thru roku menuing doesn’t compare at all to the satellite menuing using the direct tv remote. I’m moving and want to transfer to direct tv stream with Gemini devices. If I do that do I still stream through roku. Does the access

I want to get directv and use my Denon AVR receiver. Right now I have att uverse and wish to change to Directv. My wiring now goes from my router to the cab/sat on the Denon then out from ARC to the tv's ARC. I use a logitech Harmony elite as a remote for everything which is very convenient. 

how can I buy the DirecTV Stream streaming device

Has there been an update to Direct TV features to allow reduction in data usage? ie. drop picture resolution from p1080 down to p420 or p720?
